Norse Paganism at Sølvfelt Farm

Norse Paganism is the belief in the old "Norse Gods". It is the religion that pre-dates the coming of Christianity. Since much of the source material and oral legends were lost; we rely on what few things were written, and the few oral legends that survived the spread of the Abrahamic religion. While much has been lost, there is still a massive resurgence of the old faiths since before the turn of the century. We will not claim to be experts, but we will always strive to stay true to ourselves and our ancestors. Norse Paganism is an open belief system and welcomes those who are drawn to it. We do not tolerate hate or bigotry in any shape or form. Nor do we condone appropriating from other cultures, which can be rampant online. We believe the world, can be healed and nurtured with love, compassion, Gods, and gardens.

In Our Life

My husband and I have only become more devoted followers of Norse Paganism in the last few years. As the pandemic spread, things seemed bleak, and it appeared we were near rock bottom. It was at this point, already being spiritual people, that we were called to this path of our ancestors. We believe with all our hearts that we have survived and continue to prevail because of this. The Gods and Ancestors have taught us this lesson: that family and love can be eternal and divine. It was family that gave us a home while we work towards our dream, and it is love that keeps moving us forward.

In The Garden

One of the best ways to connect with the spirits is in the garden. It's in this space; that the connection can be built and strengthened. Working the earth, tending plants, feeding the visiting animals and insects; all of these things are congruent with how our ancestors lived. Everyone experiences Faith differently. Some of us feel an intimate connection to the natural forces of nature long before we can describe what we are feeling. Others spend a large part of their life with no connection, only to stumble upon it later. No matter how the path is discovered, once you're on it, you realize it's the only path through the woods.

All Are Welcome

Any Norse Pagan worth their weight in silver will tell you this: Norse Paganism is a welcoming and OPEN faith and religion.  So, we welcome all of good faith, with open hearts and love.

Gods watch over you, friends.
